The National Productivity Centre is changing!

The National Productivity Centre is losing its Director, after 4 years at the helm John Heap is relinquishing the reins and leaving the NPC. We would like to thank John for his brilliant leadership over those 4 years. All of you who have met him or exchanged electronic messages will know that John is passionate about productivity and a real advocate for improvement. John will continue to be an associate of the NPC and will obviously continue as President of EANPC and the WCPS. For his many followers the NPC website will continue to carry his productivity blog.

The NPC is taking the opportunity of John’s departure to re-invigorate itself, there will be more resources and a more dynamic approach to contact with our visitors. We will keep you informed as the new developments take place.

ArticlesThe NPC works at national and regional level advising on policy and practices needed to create and maintain an effective infrastructure that offers the potential for high productivity; and then works with organisations in all sectors of the economy to realise that potential by helping them identify and implement world-class practice.

At national and regional levels we can assist with awareness and advocacy campaigns, raising the awareness of the importance of structured and systematic approaches to productivity improvement. We can also advise on national and regional productivity infrastructures.

At the organisational level, we believe in the application of a core improvement methodology rather than following the latest management fad. We also believe that improvement should be designed to be sustainable so that gains are ‘locked in’ to the organisation.

We can work with your organisation to tailor and deliver a productivity improvement programme and provide the associated training to ensure that you can continue to improve productivity and competitiveness once our involvement has ended.
